Our primary objective during the tryout process is to provide a positive, organized, and development-focused experience for every player and family. Colorado Select tryouts are both evaluative and instructional, giving players the opportunity to showcase their skills in a structured, supportive environment confidently.
Players are evaluated across all core areas of the game, including hitting, pitching, infield and outfield defense, athleticism, and overall baseball instincts. Evaluations are conducted using consistent criteria to ensure fairness and accuracy.
Teams are formed based on performance, positional needs, and long-term development potential, with each placement made in the athlete's best interest.
All families will receive clear communication regarding team placement within two weeks of tryouts. We are committed to transparency and to placing each player in an environment where they can be challenged, supported, and continue to grow both on and off the field.
